"There's a world outside my window."

On the 23rd March 2020, Prime Minster Boris Johnson implemented a UK lockdown to help prevent the rise of cases with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic (GOV.UK, 2020)

Family’s and individuals torn away from “high-risk” relatives and loved ones, shops struggling with stock shortages due to stockpiling and daily disruptions to working lives. The constant flooding from media outlets have caused some to become overwhelmed by the daily updates.

Inspired by a poem which was written as a result of emotional outburst throughout this time of lockdown, “There’s a world outside my window” is a photographic visualisation of the issues which are being faced as a result of these restrictions.
